We took a troubled website to acceptance and launch
Task
Bring to acceptance and launch a site that had been in development for about a year.
What we did
We joined a website that had been in development for about a year: the design was approved, but the front end was full of errors, and the functions and the criteria for completion were not defined. We audited the project and discussed its state with the client, worked out the customer journey, agreed on design changes and feasible functions within the budget, and fixed the requirements and acceptance conditions. We described the logic of the custom functions and handed the tasks to the developers: the team built a new front end and fixed the errors. When the client turned out to have no content, we brought in a copywriter and an assistant and filled the site.
What we achieved
We delivered the design and the front end, filled the site with content, the client accepted the work, the closing documents were signed and the site went live.
What this means for you. If a project has stalled, it can be brought back on track: we start with an audit and a shared understanding of the result, then split the work into stages and hand over each one.
